Our approach

Double H favours a minimal and privacy-respecting approach. Our website uses no marketing cookies, no advertising pixels, no third-party trackers (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no Meta SDK).

This policy describes transparently the only storage technologies used on the website.

Strictly necessary cookies

A few technical cookies may be used for the proper functioning of the website (for example, remembering your language choice or a session state during booking). These cookies do not require your prior consent, in accordance with the CNIL exemption for strictly necessary cookies.

• Booking session: keeps the state of your booking form between steps (duration: session, deleted when the browser is closed)
• Language preferences: remembers the chosen language (duration: 1 year)

Anonymous audience measurement

To understand how our website is used and improve it, we use Plausible Analytics (or Cloudflare Web Analytics, equivalent in privacy respect).

Important particularity: Plausible uses no cookies. No individual data is collected. Statistics are anonymous and aggregated (number of visitors, page views, traffic sources). No digital fingerprint allows individual visitor identification or tracking.

Data collected (anonymous):

• Page consulted
• Country of origin (from IP address, never retained)
• Traffic source (direct link, search engine, social network…)
• Device type (mobile / tablet / desktop)
• Operating system and browser

Third-party cookies

Our website occasionally loads the following services, which may set their own cookies in some cases:

• Google Maps — loaded only on the booking page when you enter an address. See the Google privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — Cormorant Garamond and Inter. No cookies set. Service used for font loading performance.

No other third-party service is integrated.

How to refuse cookies?

Given that we use no tracking cookies or marketing tools, there is no consent banner to display. However, you may at any time:

• Configure your browser to refuse all cookies (privacy settings)
• Use a privacy-focused browser (Brave, Firefox, Safari)
• Activate private mode / incognito browsing

The website remains fully functional with cookies disabled.

Modifications

This policy may evolve based on technical changes. If we ever integrate a service requiring the use of non-strictly necessary cookies (unlikely given our approach), a CNIL-compliant consent banner would be implemented.
